ABOUT THE CLUB

The Auckland Metropolitan Clay Target Club (Auckland Met) is an active Clay Target Club located five minutes north of Pukekohe.

The “Met Club” is one of New Zealand’s biggest situated on a 25 Hectare property. The Club has modern equipment, a comfortable and fully licensed club house and spacious carpark.

At the Met we have four Trap/ DTL fields and 2 Ball Traps and 3 skeet fields. We run Canterbury DTL traps, Laporte Skeet and Ball traps and some sporting Geminis and others.

We have club shoots every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month and practice every 1st and 3rd Saturday.  The shoots are a mixture of Single Rise, Point Score, Single Barrel, Handicap by Distance, Trebles and sometimes Minis or Double Rise to keep us on our toes. Some shoots will be designated as skeet or sporting shoots but there will always be a DTL trap open.

There are club guns available to use so just rock up and have a go. There is always one of our members on hand to take you through the steps to breaking a few clays.
